They Don't Get It

It is clear that the memos have been issued from the top of the 'publican command. I imagine it must read something like this: Howard Dean is a liberal extremist who is out of touch with mainstream America. It's important to point out what a dumb choice the liberals have made here-it will only further alienate mainstream voters. This deserves mockery.

Already we see that Robert Novak (who committed a felony by outing CIA agent Valerie Plame) and David Brooks have taken their shots. Now, over the next two to four weeks we can watch as O'Reilly, Hannity, Rush all follow suit. It will have run its course once Coulter and Maglalang have completed their stab at it.

And then we can get to work. Because it has nothing to do with how liberal or how conservative Howard Dean is.

I am so glad they don't get it.
